Course description

Definition of HR in hotels, Role and importance of staff in offering quality service in hotels, Business etiquette, Team work in hotels, Definition of HR management in hotels, HR management in hotels (defining job position, HR planning, HR and recruiting and selecting, orientation and socializing of new staff, education and training of staff, job appraisal, planning career development, efficient systems of direct (salaries, bonuses) and indirect costs (paid leaves, benefits), motivation of employees, improving employer-employees relations, respecting legal regulations and workers' rights, improving working conditions, defining programmes for preventing occupational hazards and work-related stress, etc.), Factors influencing HR management in hotels (globalization and international HR management and organizational culture in hotel chains, quality changes in tourism and hotel management, technological development in tourism and hotel management, other factors).
