Mission and Vision
With more than half a century, The College of Tourism from Belgrade has a longstanding tradition in educating professionals for tourism and hospitality industry. Therefore, creating a dynamic and modern working environment for students is constantly encouraged so as to guarantee equal rights and access to learning. The College provides comprehensive knowledge in the field of tourism management, marketing, finance and other related interdisciplinary activities, constantly improving its curricula. Additionally, years of cooperation with the leading hotel and tourism organizations in the country have enabled future tourism professionals to acquire necessary skills paramount to their professional growth. Thematic panel discussions, academic conferences, a series of guest lectures of eminent experts, strategic partnerships and project work all contribute to innovation development and entrepreneurial initiatives in the tourism sector. Thus, harmonization of research activities enables continuous development of competences, preparing students to perform the most responsible tasks, i.e. improve their competitiveness and employability in the international market.
The vision of the College of Tourism is oriented at strengthening academic and research capacity by providing full support for mobility programs and establishing close relations with the business sector in order to become one of the leading educational institutions in the field of tourism, not only locally, but also regionally. Therefore, in the future, our main effort will be directed towards innovating curricula through multidisciplinary approaches and ensuring quality practice aimed at encouraging continuity in the professional development of both teaching staff and students, along with the challenges posed by the modern sustainable tourism economy.
