Course description

In lectures, communicative approach is used in order to expose students to native speakers and to encourage them to actively use English. Dialogue, pair and team work are used in classes. Visual aid is also used in lectures - PowerPoint presentation and video clips on relevant topics from tourism.

In exercises students practice listening, speaking and writing skills. Students are exposed to native speakers recorded on CDs, and have a chance to discuss in pairs different topics from tourism and everyday life. Students are given short homework tasks in order to stimulate them for individual work. Students are encouraged to search additional information in English related to tourism on the Internet.
